	In this diorama a “downed” log is used to hold a cat in his natural habitat.
	This Mossy Log reflects a decaying trunk in a moist environment.
	This Fabricated Log gives this cat on display a place to stand safely, as the log is not harmed by water.
	In forest ecology, a snag refers to a standing, partly or completely dead tree, often missing a top or most of the smaller branches. a snag can provide food and a habitat for insects and birds. These life size Snags are a replicated representative of snags in the forest environment.
	The Imaginative power of children guided the design of this interactive outdoor themed reading space. Hollowed out play spaces were worked into the design for the interior of this fabricated tree.
	A Sugar Maple downed log and snag are accompanied by Long a Needle Pine and Paper Birch trees, Hosta’s, Forest Ferns, Columbines and grasses in this woodland setting.
