The escalator in this hotel lobby overlooked the bar, hence the noise as well as the view needed to be minimized.  A Bamboo screen with dense foliage and cane placed in close proximity got the job accomplished, and added atmosphere at the same time.

Black Oriental Bamboo adds a soft, yet architectural feel to this mall. It has a small footprint, but a tall and linear presence.

Golden Oriental Bamboo tiered to rise of the stairway,  adds to the visual impact of the stairway in this luxury hotel.

Taking the stairway verses the elevator, really is the scenic view.  This Golden Oriental Bamboo, keep tall, slender and vertically planted, makes a great enhancement to an otherwise simple space.
Golden Oriental Bamboo standing sentry on either side of the atriums glass elevator tower, help to provide a little privacy for the dining patrons.
This mix of Green and Golden Cane, Oriental Bamboo has clear cane at the base so that it doesn’t interfere with the conversation area and so you can see through it.  The overhead canopy flares out with foliage so as to provide a feeling of privacy and a respite for the patrons seated there.
Black Oriental Bamboo flares at the top and flanks the entry to this salon. Tall planters add height and prevent patrons from sitting on the edge.

This Black Oriental Bamboo was over 30’ at the tallest, and had to be craned through the 7th story window. This bamboo blended with live plants in the trough planters, really adds some atmosphere to this courtyard.

When the setting sun came through the window, it was blinding in certain seating areas but Golden Oriental Bamboo was added to help filter the sunlight in the hot spots.
Fabricated large diameter cane, Green Weeping Bamboo that was blunt cut at the top added some structural softening and color to this lobby.

Fabricated Green Cane, without any foliage was mounted on a base plate and set into this restaurant’s trough planter to add a linear feel and create a pedestrian traffic barrier.

Black Oriental Bamboo is planted very vertical and is densely foliated, planted in close proximity with no clear cane at the base for maximum fullness and effect in the lower area under this escalator.
This mall choose Golden Oriental Bamboo that is tall and linear and has some clear cane at the lower area to allow patrons to see through it and sit near it, but flares at the top for coverage.

The various planters in front of the anchor stores in this mall used Bamboo that was planted asymmetrically to create some interest, taller Green Oriental on one side and shorter Black Oriental on the other side while minimalistic plantings of Bonsais and topdressings of Rock and Moss complete the intended look.
