The approach at PTI is to enhance the world with preserved and replicated trees and plants by helping our clients with creative applications, based on a passion for excellent customer service and product. PTI has grown over the last 20 years in part due to the design teams we work with, exterior/interior designers, architects, landscapers, telecommunications specialists, developers, general managers, historians and other contractors who challenge us to “branch out”. We help to bring the ideas of these professionals into reality with preserved and replicated trees and plants that enhance the project, yet are cost-effective. As our business has grown, so has our clients design concepts, budgets, ceiling heights and their visions of what they could ask us to create. We can make trees botanically correct or add our clients own design flair. We try to give our clients endless options when it comes to creating and designing. We have no restrictions when it comes to height or diameter.

Our current FEATURED INSTALLATION: The Terraces is an office building complex located in Atlanta, GA . These buildings were built in the 70s and the owners wanted to update them with a major renovation which included a contemporary look for the public areas. To accomplish this goal the landscape architects in charge of the project, Reece, Hoopes and Fincher Inc., based in Atlanta, GA,  proposed only two products to develop a minimalistic and contemporary design, PTI’s Reed Bamboo and Replica Oriental Bamboo. Landscape architects were aware that light conditions inside of building would not allow natural plants to thrive maintaining the high quality standards required for this project. Three different areas were to be landscaped.

1. THE FOUNATAIN; a large planter was installed at the center of a pool , designers specified Oriental Bamboo in a very vertical and linear form, that would add color and a softer texture to the area.

2. PLANTERS AT THE ELEVATORS;  each group of elevators is surrounded by planters, developing a protection barrier , designers specified PTI’s Reed Bamboo which not only had the elements of a perfect barrier but added a strong aesthetic landscape effect. Each planter had different dimensions, so each Reed Bamboo unit was manufactured to fit perfectly into its specific location.

3. LOBBY PLANTERS;  taller Reed Bamboo were installed in copper planters at specific lobby areas, these planters were designed to help direct pedestrian traffic and developing visually pleasing barriers while maintain the minimalistic look.  These planters had also very specific dimensions and Reed units were custom built to fit to each designated planter.
